A Chimerical Love
His darkened heart cries out
Yearning for affection
No one will hear its call
Perhaps his very soul needs resurrection
There is only one he seeks
But how could she ever want him
A true Angel she be
And he, oh so grim
A tear of blood trickles down his eye
Each time he sees her cry
If only he could take her pain away
For that he would gratefully die
Her love and approval is all he dreams of
If only she could see
Without her by his side
He would surely cease to be
He touches the braid within his hair
Purple intertwined with silver
When he looks to her hair and sees the same
His tears flow like a river
He thinks back to that moonlit night
When they laid upon the beach
Even then he knew
That her heart was just out of reach
The flame that burned behind his eyes
As he crystallized that rose
Could never compare to the inferno which blazed
Within his heart, which the world once froze
When her gaze is upon him
He feels he can do no wrong
When her loving arms are wrapped around him
He feels like one of the strong
When he looks into her silver eyes
And sees her beautiful wings flutter
When he feels her body tremble within his arms
He realizes for him there is no other
For my dear, sweet Angel, only you and I
know the true meaning of this poem.

A Simple Decision?

Across a river of tears, and a mountain of blood
I bring unto you an offer of salvation
Oh, but don't be so quick to jump at my offer, you see
I've been rejected by my own hypocritic, close-minded nation
With hair so long, piercings many
And a body displaying etchings
Of, you see, this instantly means
My very heart, mind, and soul are retched
They label me an anarchist
And claim I have no respect
I am merely a non-conformist
And have my own mind I don't neglect
It is said that you reap what you sow
Let us hope that this holds true
While their war and betrayal brings them hatred
My brotherly love will allow my ascent to the heavens blue
So tell me all, will you accept
My gift of a utopian paradise
Or push me aside, and turn me away
Merely because you feel I lead a different style of life
So look into my dark, sorrowful eyes
Despite their lack of a star-like spangle
Will you accept me as your savior
Or consider me just another fallen angel
Lost...(Written for Merloch/David)
___________
Trapped in a world without definites
Only in-betweens
A world with no absolutes
Only fraudulent dreams
Lost...
His heart so giving
Yet so rarely received
Pain envelops his life
Yet those closet don't perceive
Lost...
Instead, he's locked away
Mind, body, and soul
Though used to the pain
It must take its toll
Lost...
His world taken away
All he truly cares for gone
What he's endured
Would chill others to the bone
Lost...
He's fought for so long
To keep his mind as his own
To keep he beliefs in the arcane
His insights into the unknown
Lost...
Try as they might
He won't allow them to change
His perspective on life
Though they think him deranged
Lost...
His brilliant mind
They wish to keep sedated
And force him to live
A life degenerated
Lost...
But still he strives despite
Their physical and psychological cage
Hidden within him, eternal anguish
And burning rage
He's forever lost...
Why...
_________
Why must things
Go as they do
Why must we act
Like we don't have a clue
Why do we fear
What we do not know
When we hurt
Why do tears flow
Why do we seek
The warmth of true love
Why do we strive
For the heavens above
Why must we wither
Why must we die
And when we do
Why do our loved ones cry
Why must we always travel
Where angels fear to tread
Why can't we experience rapture
Rather than eternal dread
Why must we love
The man we call brother
Why must we honor
Our father and mother
Why must we repent
Sins that aren't our own
Why must we reap
What others have sown
Why do we always judge
That which we know nothing of
Why is a simple push
Always retaliated to with a shove
Why is the man you consider different
Always the one to blame
When the upstanding citizen down the street
In his heart, is the same
Why is one man's truth
Another man's lie
Why can't we see
Past our own eyes
Why must we live out our lives
Like a shadowed masquerade
Why are our true feeling
Always of a darker shade
Why do we bleed
Why do we scream
Why can't reality
Be like our dreams
Why do we fear
The horrors of Hell
When any escape from our own
Would do us well
Why is life grand for a few
But for most, so unfair
Why should you carry on
Why should I care

Sweet Fantasy
Forever trapped behind white walls
Forever wandering grey-scale halls
Forever enduring their taunts and calls
The tragic tale of the angel who falls
A life of joy, given unto pain
No pleasure allowed, only disgust and disdain
Any happiness she shows clearly feigned
Against all odds, she struggles in vain
In but a flash her hopes were rendered null
A straight-razor's blade scraped and dull
Once an existance so bright and full
Her only craving now a day her pain doesn't reach it's pinnacle
Where is her savior to deliver her from this physical fiend
Spoken of for so long, when will He make the scene
Please put social hierarchy aside, I know she is no Lady or Queen
Ah, now I see, in the court of the Almighty, perhaps she was simply deemed unclean
But if I speak the truth, why was it she who was chosen to run a gauntlet so dark
Was her destiny entirely damned from the start
More importantly so, does this dreary path fork
Or must she fly it as true as a magnetic dart
It matters not to me, for I will stand at her side
An invisible wind upon which she glides
Spread your wings my love, and take to the sky
In our sweet fantasy, we never die
