Angel of Mercy

She came to me in a dream
She was the "Angel of Mercy"
Colored silver were her eyes, hair and wings
In my mind her angelic voice rings

Singing of forgiveness and salvation
Capturing a heart and soul that needed resurrection
She saved me when I thought there was no hope
No escape, and I didn't want to cope

She gave to me love and a peace so serene
She was the "Angel of Mercy"
Residing within my dreams
Gently holding me when my heart screams

She touched me with her magical spell
When I thought I was in the pits of hell
And saved a soul that was tormented
Healed a mind that was desecrated
