Bound By Silence
A story is told of a child
Brought into a realm gone wild
With wars abound
Silence became the child's sound
Given growth by the powers of the Fae
Before her first words she could say
The child now a woman, not a friend she had
The woman hid the child inside, she was so sad
Sent away to a place unknown
Her mind followed the body that had grown
Now together her and silence were bound
Hush now make not a sound
She came home, only home was gone
Demolished by wars, something gone wrong
When in the woods she met a man
The rush of feeling she fought him foot and hand
When in a moment weak he saw the trapped child
So much like he, they created loves child
Five months they loved, and he disappeared
She released a river of tears
The child came, he had not returned
Down her cheeks hot tears burned
Silence became her world once more
The child grew through the pain she bore
The child's age, as hers, was accelerated
But the child remained with the Mother unmanipulated
When alas some 2 years later he came home changed
He held her pulling her from her world of silence and pain
They now build a life together, she refusing to let him go
Because through it all, he is the only that her heart knows
Bound by silence, Freed by love
He be the only that she can dream of
